Adventure Travel Wishlist- Top 3 destinations

Source:wanderlustmoms.com
I have been mentally building up my travel wishlist for a long time now. As time passes, the list only keeps getting longer. When I am not traveling, I may be either pinning pictures of my dream destinations or fuelling my wanderlust looking at pictures on my Twitter feed; imagining what it would be like to live there. I do travel to new places every year, but a few of my dream destinations will need a lot more time and planning before I get to visit them.
So, when I came across the Alikats Bucket List Challenge, I thought of taking the opportunity to list at least 3 adventurous experiences that I would really like to plan. Do you have these destinations on your wishlist too?

Hiking the Fjords in Norway
The more I read up about the scenic coast of Norway, the more I’m drawn to mapping out an adventurous trip to this Northern part of the world! Think natural beauty, waterfalls, hikes, boat trips – sounds like a dream destination for adventure and photography lovers!
When to visit Norway: June to August for sun and daytime adventures, Oct-March if Northern Lights is your main goal
Here are some sample activities and tours I’d consider while planning:
2.Water sports and hiking in French Polynesia–
Another destination that makes me drool is Bora Bora in French Polynesia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it is surrounded by a barrier reef and a beautiful lagoon. I can never look at enough pictures of Bora Bora at Instagram or Pinterest! I also took note of the basic greetings they use on the island, thanks to the blogger behind orientalflowers. Wouldn’t it be amazing to enjoy some underwater adventures here?
Hello – Ia Ora na (yo-rah-nah)
Goodbye – Nana (nah-nah)
Yes – E (ay)
No – Aita (eye-tah)
3.Serene mountain adventure in Leh, Ladakh-
It is extremely difficult to pinpoint the top 3 dream destinations, but Ladakh in India has been on my mind since 2005, the year I visited Kashmir. It is unfortunate of me to not have visited numerous beautiful regions in my own country, but I hope to make the trip at some point. Granted, lately, it’s become quite a hotspot for travellers, with the number of holiday packages and group trips on the rise. Yet, exploring the mountains, lakes and monasteries in one of the Northern-most regions of India remains high on my wishlist.
When to visit: May to September for summer trips. It can start snowing October onwards. So, it depends if you would rather go on snow treks in the winter or smoother road trips in the summer.
But, I am not stopping here! No, hold on! I am not ending this post until I show a few pictures of places I absolutely HAVE to visit at some point. Here you go:
The Balearic Islands– Of course, I need to visit the island I was named after!
And while I am there, might as well visit the neighbouring islands..
I have also heard so much about Tasmania that I would really like to go there..and also visit New Zealand:)

1.Northern Lights. That is great indeed. When in Finland You should visit these two places at same time:
World’s Biggest Snow Castle.
Arctic Circle in winter.
